William Edward Bicker (WEB) and his wife moved to Grandview 5 years ago to have a quiet retirement and to live close to their kids and grandkids. Bill is a retired Federal Peace Officer and loves to educate others on handguns. “Doesn’t matter if you’re experienced or not, I teach the NRA’s Basic Handgun Class, or if experienced I can complete your Texas License to Carry (LTC) instruction required by the state.” Bill also has many clients who are retired peace officers and need their annual requalification. He is proud to educate and pass on his knowledge. His classes are as small as 1, but no larger than 6 so he can maintain personalization.
In addition to joining the Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club and even though he lives outside the city limits, he attends most all city council meetings to keep abreast of what is happening in Grandview.
Bill & his wife have been married almost 50 years. They have a daughter (a police officer), son-in-law (works for Johnson County), and 3 grand kids nearby (grandson in the USAF, and two granddaughters attending Grandview schools). They also have another daughter (works at the Kansas City Art Institute), son-in-law (works for UPS), and a grandson (in high school) in Kansas City.
